Ian Hinchcliffe’s barn – Ian was looking to restore an old barn that sits opposite his house. It required a new roof as the old roof had collapsed and most of the existing stone was un-salvageable. A large amount of stone would be required to reinstate the roof so sourcing adequate reclaimed stone would prove difficult and extremely costly; never mind the time it would take to install.
The barn is located in a conservation area so a decision was made to use the Truestone Aged Yorkstone so that an instant match could be achieved. The completed project oozes class and quality and more importantly blends beautifully with the surrounding buildings.
